What is
LED Relamping?


The term relamping simply means replacing older generation light fittings with LED (Light Emitting Diode) lamps. LED technology represents the evolution of solid-state lighting, in which the generation of light is achieved by exploiting the ability of certain semiconductors to stimulate the movement of electrons within the diodes of which it is composed instead of using filaments or gas as in traditional bulbs.

LEDs are free of pollutants and generate less ultraviolet radiation. In addition, they do not overheat, avoiding the dispersion of thermal energy in the environment. They require minimal maintenance and have a very high average lifetime (about 100,000 hours). They are an ideal solution for production facilities or commercial activities that need to be illuminated without interruption.
