Our treatment systems are also characterised by high energy efficiency, promoting the reduction of the consumption of electrical and thermal energy necessary for the process with a consequent reduction of the costs on consumption and the possibility to access the economic incentives provided by the Incentive Mechanism thanks to the expertise of our investee company Exalto, an R&D company specialised in energy efficiency.




One of the most effective systems for removing pollutants from water is membrane filtration, which has several techniques, such as ultrafiltration, nanofiltration, reverse osmosis and electrodeionisation. Tertiary Filtration in wastewater treatment plants is used to obtain water suitable for reuse in non-drinkable processes.



With the sanitisation process it is possible to prevent the formation of these pathogens, among which Legionella is becoming more and more frequent, to preserve the chemical/physical qualities of the water and to avoid problems of corrosion of the pipes.



Biological water treatments exploit the action of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria for the removal of organic compounds such as BOD, nitrogen and phosphorus. Treatments that allow for space optimisation are also applicable, for example MBR (Membrane BioReactor), and MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor).



Treatments used mainly in industry for the removal of substances such as heavy metals and insoluble salts. Among the most common are flotation, to induce the floating of aerophilic substances, and clariflocculation, which, thanks to the addition of coagulants, causes the aggregation and precipitation of pollutants.



With the sanitisation process it is possible to prevent the formation of these pathogens, among which Legionella is becoming more and more frequent, to preserve the chemical/physical qualities of the water and to avoid problems of corrosion of the pipes.


In order to obtain a further concentration of the solid by-product, a drying process is applied, which enables a dry content of up to 90% to be achieved. For the transition to the crystalline state of liquid solutions such as brines or ammonium sulphate, the crystallisation process is used instead.

Analysis of the consumption profile and of the chemical-physical and microbiological characteristics of industrial water

The design of a civil or industrial water treatment process requires a precise determination of the chemical-physical and microbiological characteristics to identify the type of pollutants (heavy metals, hydrocarbons, ammonia, COD, etc.) and pathogens (viruses and bacteria) present in the water supply. For fluid analysis, Innovatec Power relies on the support of accredited laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation.


Thanks to this service, the customer is able to know the quality of his water utilities and choose the intervention methods that allow him the greatest convenience in terms of savings and quality of the water component.

Water Efficiency

An energy audit is a systematic, documented and periodic assessment of the energy efficiency of a facility.

The efficiency of the water cycle is achieved thanks to the recycling of treated water, which leads to a reduction in consumption and consequently in procurement costs where the optimal condition is zero discharge, i.e. the complete reuse of treated water.

Innovatec Power analyses the company’s water consumption profile, monitoring its main utilities with the aim of identifying the improvements that will generate the greatest savings for the company. Proper water treatment allows a reduction of pollutant volumes, which translates into a decrease in disposal costs of the same. In some production sectors it is also possible to recover secondary raw materials, such as ammonium sulphate, inks, salt solutions.


Without being aware of one’s own consumption it is not possible to act to reduce it and thus save money. Thanks to this service, the customer can meet legal obligations and save money by choosing the modus operandi and technologies that allow the greatest reduction in consumption and a higher quality of the fluids used.

Plant design

Design and installation of water treatment plants modulated according to the purpose of use of the treated water

We offer water treatment systems characterised by high energy efficiency. The installation of the system, after evaluation of the available spaces, follows the best solution from a logistics point of view. In case of external location, the plants are placed inside containers equipped with an air conditioner and covered with insulating panels to maintain a stable internal temperature, in order to avoid freezing of liquids in winter and overheating of the equipment in summer.


By reducing the consumption of electricity and heat, customers can access the incentive mechanisms provided and the Energy Efficiency Certificates (TEE). In addition, if a monitoring system is installed, the plants can benefit from the incentives allocated by the Industry 4.0 plan, with a saving of over 40% on investment costs.

Industrial maintenance

Scheduled operations, aimed at preserving the efficiency of a plant, while maintaining constant productivity.

We offer a service of ordinary and/or extraordinary maintenance of the customer’s own plants, guaranteed by contract. The savings generated by the plants are always considered net of ordinary maintenance.


The choice of a reliable partner that follows the maintenance of the plant over time allows the customer to preserve the investment made in terms of durability and efficiency, to prevent loss of the value generated.
